Pokémon TCG 30th Anniversary is planned as a simultaneous worldwide release. Every booster is set to include one of 30 Pikachu cards, and the set includes foil cards throughout, including Basic Energy. This page keeps the full checklist usable even when a provider record or image is temporarily unavailable.
Confirmed expansion details
Pokémon TCG 30th Anniversary is planned for simultaneous worldwide release on September 16, 2026.
Each booster is set to include five foil cards, including one of the 30 unique Pikachu illustrations, plus one foil Basic Energy card.
The confirmed Pikachu rare cards have special Pikachu numbering. Each has a unique illustration, artist, and attacks.
Two Pikachu ex special illustration rares have been revealed and use the expansion's day and night visual theme.
The official overview describes foil cards throughout the expansion, including Basic Energy, and names Futuristic Rare as a new rarity for the set.
Classic cards return for the celebration. Pokémon says those reprints are not Standard legal, while formats that allow the original editions can still use them.
The 30 Pikachu cards
The 30 confirmed Pikachu rare cards use special Pikachu numbering from 01 to 30, corresponding to set numbers 023–052. Each card has its own illustration and illustrator. The same collection records power this tracker and the general checklist below.

Pokémon identifies Futuristic Rare as a new rarity introduced for 30th Celebration. The current verified database snapshot associates two cards with this family; their records stay separate from the numbered main set and can be updated when the provider catalogue fills in.
