About Lunidex

Lunidex is an independent, unofficial Pokémon web application. It helps collectors track sets, owned and missing cards, and collection progress, then provides a Pokédex and team tools in the same workspace. Lunidex is not a card marketplace.

Lunidex exists to make Pokémon data clear, useful, and accessible in multiple languages. It combines reference tools, team building, and Pokémon TCG collection features while respecting upstream data boundaries. Lunidex is maintained as a small open-source fan project. Product availability, account services, and upstream data can change; public pages describe the current documented scope.

All Pokémon data (stats, types, abilities, moves, evolutions, sprites, official artwork) is sourced from the open PokeAPI project (pokeapi.co), a free, community-driven database. Trading card data (cards, sets, rarities, prices) is sourced from TCGdex (tcgdex.net), an open Pokémon TCG database. Pokémon, Pokémon character names, and related properties are trademarks of Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures Inc. Lunidex is a non-commercial fan project and is not affiliated with The Pokémon Company.

Browse Pokémon reference records with stats, types, evolutions, and moves. Compare stats side-by-side with radar charts. Plan a six-Pokémon team with type coverage analysis and weakness detection. Explore the interactive type-effectiveness matrix. Track collection progress by set, and try the six-mode Pokémon quiz. The interface is available in 8 languages, including Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

Public browsing is free, and Lunidex can be installed as a progressive web app (PWA). There is no subscription or purchase flow in the documented product scope. Reference and collection views remain local-first where possible; account-backed synchronization is optional and depends on the configured service. Lunidex does not claim a card scanner, marketplace checkout, App Store or Google Play publication, or guaranteed card valuation. It is Lunidex, distinct from the unrelated name Ludex.

Lunidex is licensed under the MIT License. The full source code is on GitHub. You can read it, audit it, fork it, or host it yourself. Code and translation contributions are welcome. We chose MIT so others can inspect, adapt, and improve the project.
